Step into the world of iconic Designers’ Shymal and Bhumika at Oberoi Mall

From September 03 to 07, Oberoi Mall transforms into a living, breathing gallery with The Art Lab, a curated series of pop-up art and design installations scattered across all levels of the mall.

Curated by an independent team of artists and designers, The Art Lab brings together works by local and international creatives, designed to engage, surprise, and slow you down. These aren’t artworks on walls. They’re tucked into escalator wells, projected onto lift doors, hidden in quiet corners. Each one invites interaction, reflection or at the very least, a double take.

Highlights include “Transient Bodies”, a digital installation that captures the silhouettes of passersby and stitches them into a constantly evolving screen projection. On Level 2, “Echo Table” turns everyday mall sounds into abstract light pulses. Families will love “Wobble Room”, an inflatable dome that reacts to movement and sound.

The colour-coded QR labels next to each work offer more than just names and titles. They lead to interviews, process sketches, and the artist’s thoughts behind each piece. Throughout the week, there will be informal curator walk-throughs, as well as a few acoustic performances in the open courtyard.

The Art Lab is part of Oberoi Mall’s broader vision to create experiences that go beyond shopping. It turns functional spaces into places of discovery where creativity, movement, and urban life intersect.
